Dr. Piller has advanced training in sensory integration and has completed comprehensive program in sensory integration including certification and administration of the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test. She also has completed the USC Sensory Integration Certification program. Dr. Piller is an expert in feeding therapy utilizing a holistic approach to treat feeding difficulties in the context of mealtime. She is a certified Therapeutic Listening provider and certified Interactive Metronome Provider. She has advanced training in neurodevelopmental treatment, assistive technology, and comprehensive team treatment for children with autism. She is a member of the Arizona Occupational Therapy Association, the American Occupational Therapy Association, the World Federation of Occupational Therapists, and the Neurodevelopmental Treatment Association. She currently serves as the technology coordinator for the American Occupational Therapy association Sensory Integration and Processing Special Interest Section.

Our Founder- Dr. Aimee Piller
Aimee Piller PhD, OTR/L, BCP is a pediatric occupational therapist and owner of Piller Child Development LLC. Aimee graduated Summa Cum Laude with her bachelors degree in elementary education from York College in York, Nebraska, her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and her PhD in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas.
Her master’s research was on sensory processing in adults with autism spectrum disorder. Her PhD dissertation examined the reliability and validity of the Participation and Sensory Environment Questionnaire–Teacher Version (PSEQ–TV), an assessment she developed to examine the impact of the sensory environment on participation within the preschool setting.
